THE 5th edition of the Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival runs from Oct. 15 to 18 at the The Marquee Tent at the EDSA Shangri-La. Registration for the shows starts at 7 p.m., with the shows scheduled at 8 p.m., except on Oct. 17 when both registration and show are an hour earlier. Oct. 15 will feature the fashion of Yong Studio, Cheetah Rivera, Dino Lloren, Chris Diaz, Steph Tan, Prima Villarama. Jaz Cerezo, and Avel Bacudio x Alden Richards. On Oct. 16 it is the turn of ARIN, Ministry of Silk, Khang, Fred Telarma, SoFA: Joanna Ngo, Patricia Samulde, Denesse Ramirez, Aurea Vinluan, Zia Ferrer, and Iris Driz. On Oct. 17, its FOP Cycle 6 Finale, Benjie Panizales, Kaye Morales, World Balance, Kim Hak Seon, Veejay Floresca, Renan Pacson, John Pe Larlar, and Aztec Barba; and on Oct. 18, Edgar Buyan, Dodjie Batu, Marichu Tan, Windel Mira, Bamba Limon, Egay Ayag, Emi Englis, Philipp Tampus and Yong Davalos.

K-Pop dance tilt at new mall

AYALA LAND’s biggest Ayala Mall to date and the newest retail destination in Metro Manila will hold exhibits and entertainment programs this month including the K-Crew Dance Fest, a K-Pop dance cover competition, which will hold its live elimination rounds on Oct. 19 (the grand finals will be on Nov. 16 with special participation of guest judges Dasuri Choi, Airon Jazz Rances, and Kang Min Su, a former member of K-Pop group Bee Shuffle). October at Shangri-La Plaza

SHANGRI-LA Plaza mall has lined up a series of events for October. Shang dresses up the East Atrium and Grand Atrium in for its Outer Space Adventure, an out-of-this-world Halloween party on Oct. 19 and 20. Shang participates in the National Indigenous Peoples’ Month as it hosts People’s Pride Cultural Fair, a pop-up trunk show in partnership with Great Women, on Oct. 24 to 27 at the East Atrium. The event promotes the culture, food, and craftmanship of Filipino indigenous groups like T’boli, Yakan, and Maranao. The European Higher Educational Fair (EHEF) 2019 makes a stop at the Shang on Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Grand Atrium. K-Pop fans meet

ONE OF the participants in Produce 101: Season 2 is coming to Manila for his first Fan Meeting Tour on Oct. 19 at Mall of Asia Arena. Kang Daniel won and debuted as the center from the group Wanna One formed from the survival show Produce 101: Season 2. He’s the most voted trainee and acquired the nickname “Nation’s Pick.” He officially debuted on July 25 as a solo artist with the album entitled color on me. He has been touring Asia, holding fan meetings to promote the album. At the Mall of Asia Arena, he will talk about his recent journey as a solo artist and perform his songs live. Tickets range in price from P3,000 to P11,000 excluding 5% ticket charges.
