THE Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) will launch the 2018 Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (MADE) through a series of art exhibits, workshops, and lectures dubbed as “Art MADE Public.” The kick-off event will be on Jan. 25, 5:30 p.m., at SM Aura Premier, Event Area Ground Floor Lobby, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. Cultural Center of the Philippines Thirteen Artists awardee Manny Garibay and National Historical Commission of the Philippines Chairman Rene Escalante will grace the event. This year, “Art MADE Public” will not only feature works of past MADE winners but will also showcase diverse influences among the artists as well as various themes and styles which have emerged among their works over time. The exhibits will be held from Jan. 25 to March 21, with lectures held during the exhibit openings. The exhibits will be held at SM Aura Premier (Jan. 25-28); SM City Bacolod (Feb. 1-3); SM Seaside Cebu (Feb. 7-10); SM Lanang Premiere, Davao City (March 1-3); SM Dasmariñas (March 8-12), and The Block SM City North EDSA (March 14-21).
