MITSUBISHI MOTORS Philippines Corp. (MMPC) continued its “Reimagine Your Ride” test-drive tour with a stop in Cebu, and another to come in Davao. Cebuanos got to experience the brand’s entire range of models, and enjoy discounts and branded merchandise exclusive to the event.

The Cebu staging happened last June 24 to 26 at the SM Seaside City Cebu (Lower Ground Floor, Mountain Wing Atrium, and Block 5 Open Parking Lot), while the Davao edition will ensue at the SM Lanang Premier Davao (Upper Ground Floor, Mall Atrium, and Parking D).

MMPC will display the Mirage G4 and L300 alongside the Montero Sport, Strada Athlete, and the just-launched Xpander. Select models will be available for test drives.

For both stagings, the first 150 registrants online (through the MMPC website) will receive limited-edition Kool Cloud water bottles. All visitors will get Caltex SavePlus Cards, and those who will book on-site are entitled to win one of the car care packages from Sonax, Little Trees, CTEK, Prestone and PIAA. Off-roaders and enthusiasts will also be able to delight in a set up by Concept One and Black Rhino.

President and CEO of MMPC Takeshi Hara said, “When we launched the new Xpander a month ago, it doubled as an opportunity for us to reawaken the love of Filipinos for adventure and road trips through this ride-and-drive series. And as promised, we wish for those who are outside of the capital of Manila residing in Visayas and Mindanao to experience it for themselves physically and not just through a screen.” He added, “We are excited for more locals to meet the latest version of the Xpander and receive the promotions and gifts we have in store for them all throughout the three days. We are not stopping here though, watch for us to come to your city soon.”

The Mitsubishi Xpander is the country’s leading MPV in sales and boasts a segment-leading 225mm ground clearance and cruise control. MMPC highlights its generous cabin space, and a new dashboard that has been “fully enhanced” with soft-touch materials and a seven-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA-3), with a reversing camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Under the body, the steering mechanism and suspension have also been optimized for more comfort and as a complement to its economical 1.5-liter MIVEC automatic transmission engine.

Select Mitsubishi models can be put through their paces via a special man-made obstacle course. Driving through the outdoor track enables customers to experience the strong capabilities and enjoyable features that Mitsubishi cars offer.
