THE Project Traffic Management Task Force for the Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 7 (MRT-7) has advised the public to avoid Quirino Highway starting today, Nov. 6, as construction work for the railway is expected to slow down traffic flow. The task force, in a statement yesterday, appealed to motorists for their full cooperation and in observing traffic rules and regulations to avoid further obstructions. The following alternate routes were suggested:

1. Bound for Quezon Memorial Circle coming from Caloocan/San Jose del Monte: Sampaguita Road to Maligaya Road; Malaria Road to Maligaya Road ; Malanting Road to Maligaya Road

2. Bound for Caloocan/San Jose del Monte coming from Quezon Memorial Circle: Regalado Highway to Ascencion ; Mindanao Avenue to Ascencion or Carida-Esperanza
