CEBU VICE-GOVERNOR Agnes A. Magpale, who is running for governor in the 2019 elections, has filed a disqualification case against her opponent, 3rd District Representative Gwendolyn F. Garcia. Ms. Magpale said the petition was filed at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) central office in Manila and that she is confident it will hold water.
DEPUTY HOUSE Speaker Gwendolyn F. Garcia said she will pursue her plan to run for Cebu governor in the 2019 elections as she prepares to file an appeal on the Office of the Ombudsman’s recent dismissal order, which also permanently bars her from holding any public post.
