Petron Corp. said on Thursday, Aug. 2, that the supply of its petroleum products has remained “steady” all over the country despite its legal battle with state-owned Philippine National Oil Co. (PNOC) over leased properties, the terms of which are set to expire this month.

“So far, we continue to enjoy undisturbed possession of the leased properties that are vital to our operations, pending resolution of the issues we raised in court against PNOC and its president, so there is nothing to worry about. We remain committed to providing the kind of services we provide our consumers all over the country,” Ramon S. Ang, Petron president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. — Victor V.
