PAYMAYA Philippines, Inc. has partnered with beverage distributor Fruit Magic Co., Inc. for cashless payments.

The digital payments unit of PLDT, Inc.’s Voyager Innovations, Inc. announced its partnership with the company behind the previous Fruit Magic branches, now rebranded as Pure Nectar, for cashless payments in the retailer’s outlets.

“Our customers love on-the-go convenience that Pure Nectar offers, which is why it’s a perfect match that we now offer PayMaya QR payments at some of our stores,” said Arielle Escalona, director of sales and marketing at Fruit Magic, in a statement.

PayMaya users have to scan the QR code displayed at selected Pure Nectar branches in Metro Manila.

“We’re glad that brands like Pure Nectar are joining the cashless revolution, along with so many other brands and companies now accepting PayMaya QR as a payment method,” Raymund Villanueva, vice-president and head of consumer business at PayMaya, said.

PayMaya has partnerships with merchants including the SM Group, Robinsons Retail, and Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc.
