Residents of two villages in Patikul, Sulu line up for relief goods after they fled their homes due to the ongoing pursuit operations being conducted by security forces against the Abu Sayyaf and Ajang-Ajang groups, which are suspected to be behind the Jan. 27 twin bombings in the capital Jolo. The relief operations was initiated by the Sulu provincial government through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), and assisted by the Patikul local government, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Bureau of Fire Protection, Jolo Emergency Rescue Network, Red Cross, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
