Spanish music at CCP

Posted on May 28, 2014

IT WILL be a night of classic flamenco music at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) when classical pianist Rosa Torres-Pardo and flamenco singer Rocío Márquez Limón perform on June 7.

They will perform in Suite Española (Spanish Suite), a show where piano scores and flamenco singing find a common ground to provide a greater freedom of interpreting the works of Spanish composers such as Granados, Albéniz and Falla.

The concert -- the result of a partnership between the Embassy of Spain and the CCP -- will be held on June 7, 7:30 p.m., at the CCP’s Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (Little Theater).
Free admission.
