Chefs talk about ingredients

THE Food Writers Association of the Philippines presents Toques and Texts, culinary inspirations from the award-winning book Sangkap. It will be held on Nov. 16, 3 p.m., at the Palm Grove, Amorsolo Square, Rockwell, Makati. It will feature chefs Myrna Segismundo who will talk of vinegar, Jessie Sincioco who will discuss rice, Jill Sandique who will tackle coconut, Ariel Manuel who will discuss herbs, and Josh Boutwood who will talk of bagoong (fermented fish paste).
