K-pop star Park Hyung Sik holds first Manila concert
PULP Live World brings Korean singer and actor Park Hyung Sik in a concert called 2017 Park Hyung Sik First Love in Manila on Nov. 11 at the KIA Theatre, Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila. Hyung Sik first entered the limelight in 2010 as a member of South Korean boy group ZE:A, also known as Children of Empire. Nowadays, Hyung Sik is more popular for his work on television, revealing himself to be a versatile actor through different roles in The Heirs (2013), What’s With This Family (2014), High Society (2015), and the period drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016), among others. Most recently, he was in JBTC’s record-breaking and highest-rating series Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, a romantic comedy where he starred alongside actress Park Bo Young for his first lead role. With several acting awards and nominations under his belt, Hyung Sik, still keeps in touch with his musical side by lending his voice to songs in the soundtracks of some of his dramas such as “I’ll Be Here” for Hwarang and “Because Of You” for Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.
