    How the Philippine police are ‘gamifying’ propaganda (Part 3 of 5)

    Late last year, Apple took down a number of Filipino-developed mobile games after over a hundred organizations called for their removal, claiming they actively promoted murder, extrajudicial killings, violence, and the Philippine war on drugs .

    While no longer on Apple’s platform, the games are still available on Android, Google’s mobile operating system and the most widely used platform in the country. Among these games was Tsip Bato: Ang Bumangga Giba!, a mobile app commissioned by the Philippine National Police itself.
