Aesthetic clinic chain to open more outlets via franchising

Posted on April 05, 2013

AESTHETIC CLINIC chain Forever Flawless Face and Body Center, Inc. (Flawless) plans to open at least three more outlets this year as part of its expansion efforts to the provinces.

Flawless owner and Chief Executive Officer Rubby Sy told reporters yesterday that the company is set to open new outlets in SM Clark in Pampanga and Walter Mart in Bulacan.

Ms. Sy said the company is also in talks to open a branch at the SM Consolacion in Cebu City.

“We are very interested to open more outlets this year, especially in the provinces,” Ms. Sy told reporters yesterday.

She said Flawless is also accepting franchise inquiries to open branches in Baguio City, as well as in other key cities in the Visayas and Mindanao like Cagayan de Oro.

Founded in 2001, Flawless is a mass-market beauty clinic managed by professional dermatologists.

Over the years, Flawless has expanded to 35 branches nationwide, each of which has a professional dermatologist that is ready and qualified to diagnose any skin and body concerns.

“People can look forward to so many great things from Flawless. It is definitely nice to have an aesthetic clinic that not only bases its foundations on medical research, but conducts its business with the Filipino in mind,” Ms. Sy said.

Out of the company’s 35 branches, Ms. Sy said, only seven are currently located in the provinces.

These provincial branches are mostly owned by franchisees, including the Flawless clinic in General Santos City owned by boxing champ and Saranggani Rep. Manny Pacquiao.

Ms. Sy the franchise fee for a Flawless clinic starts at P1.2 million, with the initial investment for medical equipment estimated to reach at least P5 million. Return of investment is expected after three years from opening, she added.

“We saw the wealth of opportunities offered by franchising not just for ourselves but more importantly, for our patients as a way of expanding our network and making Flawless the most accessible beauty clinic in the Philippines. This led us to develop a franchising plan, anchored on the idea of helping others succeed,” Ms. Sy said.

“We want all franchise partners to achieve the same success we have experienced in our own company-owned clinics while upholding the high standards of service excellence that we at Flawless have built out nationwide reputation on,” she added.

Understanding the brand’s commitment to deliver world-class yet affordable beauty solutions, Flawless recently launched its summer campaign that highlights its products and services ideal for the season.

Among these services is called Sweatox, a treatment approved by the US Food and Drug Administration that uses small amounts of Botox to stop excessive perspiration.

“All our efforts -- including our marketing initiatives -- have always been centered on the idea of giving Filipinos the confidence to go after what they want,” Ms. Sy said. “We believe that beauty has its purpose and that purpose is to empower us to live life to the fullest, free from reservations or hesitations,” she added. -- Jeffrey O.
